Rob Bennett is a local of the Kiawah-Seabrook area. He has been a licensed Coast Guard Captain since graduating from the University of South Carolina in 1981. As a native of the local waters, he knows the proper techniques on where to find the fish at certain times and certain tides. |

He won the 1998 Trident Fishing Tournament for Out Standing Inshore Boat of the Year, which is quite an achievement to land once in a life time. He is a regular on the television series "SC Outdoors" on the SC Educational Channel and an outdoor writer for the local Kiawah-Seabrook newspaper. He is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association, Southern Kingfish Association and also a member of the St. Johns Rotary Club. |
